Director – Business Development

 

An opportunity to join a global market leader in the solar industry.  If you have a proven track record of accomplishments in the solar industry, ideally developing solar power projects for utilities, residential and commercial markets we would like to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities:

 

bullet

Identify and implement solar projects with a qualified P&L that align with corporate guidelines and objectives.

bullet

Work with Sales, Regulatory, Marketing, Engineering and Finance in a collaborative environment.

bullet

Identify joint venture and partnership opportunities with local representation, investor groups, utilities and others to support new projects.

bullet

Develop marketing and product offerings to increase revenues, market share and margins.

bullet

Provide input on competitive activity and other market activities.

bullet

Prioritize customer requirements and include in product and sales plans

 

Requirements:

 

bullet

Excellent working knowledge of and experience in the electrical utility industry.

bullet

Willing and able to work effectively in an entrepreneurial organization.

bullet

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) for all organization levels, both internal and external.

bullet

Minimum 10 years of successful business-to-business experience in delivering new products and services.

bullet

Degree in engineering and/or business, MBA preferred.
