Director – Business
Development
An opportunity to join a global market leader
in the solar industry. If you have a proven track record of
accomplishments in the solar industry, ideally developing
solar power projects for utilities, residential and commercial
markets we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
 |
Identify and implement solar projects with a
qualified P&L that align with corporate guidelines and
objectives. |
 |
Work with Sales, Regulatory, Marketing,
Engineering and Finance in a collaborative environment. |
 |
Identify joint venture and partnership
opportunities with local representation, investor groups,
utilities and others to support new projects. |
 |
Develop marketing and product offerings to
increase revenues, market share and margins. |
 |
Provide input on competitive activity and
other market activities. |
 |
Prioritize customer requirements and include
in product and sales plans |
Requirements:
 |
Excellent working knowledge of and experience
in the electrical utility industry. |
 |
Willing and able to work effectively in an
entrepreneurial organization. |
 |
Excellent communication skills (verbal,
written and presentation) for all organization levels, both
internal and external. |
 |
Minimum 10 years of successful
business-to-business experience in delivering new products
and services. |
 |
Degree in engineering and/or business, MBA
preferred. |
