Applications Engineer
Role:
This is an important, high visibility,
technical customer interface role that is actively involved in
the sales process and customer support. Facilitates product
success at the customer site. Provides critical feedback on
product application and processing requirements to the
marketing and product engineering groups.
Duties:
 |
Customer technical interface |
|
Customer presentations, whitepapers and
applications notes |
|
Oversee customer trials, product acceptance &
integration |
Qualifications:
|
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Metallurgy,
Semiconductor Processing, Photovoltaic or Electrical
Engineering |
|
Customer oriented personality |
|
Excellent English written and speaking skills
|
|
Command of German, Mandarin or Japanese a
plus |
|
Metallurgical processing knowledge
|
|
Understanding of process monitoring and
control |
|
Available for extensive travel 50% + |
Experience:
|
3-5 years experience in the photovoltaic or
semiconductor industry |
|
Experience in ingot growing, wafer
manufacturing, and PV cell processing |
|
Customer relationship management, team
selling |
|
|
